EVERDON
VILLAGE FETE 2011 – Monday 29th August
It's that time of year again when Everdon welcomes everyone into the
village for this year’s Grand Fete! It is taking place on August Bank
Holiday Monday (August 29th) from 2 onwards. Parking and admission is free. There
really is something for everyone - the bottle stall, homemade cakes, plant
stall, teas and ice-creams. There are plenty of games to keep young and old
amused: Golf chipping and putting, skittles, horseshoe throwing, coconut shy,
face painting and children's games.
Daventry Brass band will be playing underneath the horse chestnut
tree as usual - which gives the fete a magical feel and the Brackley
Morris Men will be entertaining us.
Whether you have been before or this is your first time you will
have a wonderful afternoon and will be made to feel very welcome!
